Slingshot - excellent! Laser - meh...

I'll start by saying that the slingshot lives up to the hype, it looks like it could take down a small army, but the laser pointer is pretty weak... It illuminates objects only upto around 10m and even then, only in low light.

GTX-3 Slingshot. Easy to upgrade

Wasn't sure if the version with the wrist support would make it, so I ordered this one to be on the safe side. I pinged Brad a few weeks later asking about upgrading and they shipped me out the wrist brace in a separate order, I just paid the difference - it was around $15 at the time. Fair deal.

Good for hunting small game

Suggest 6mm steel ammo to start with because its cheap. Once you're ready to step up - the 10mm will take out most small animals - rabbits etc.

On the expensive side, but well made.

Over the years I've bought a number of cheaper models from eBay, but this is the first one that looks like it will last. Most are made from some sort of tin pot alloy, but this looks to be the real deal. I've only used it a couple of times because i'm waiting to order some sort of hand guard. If you hit your wrist it's going to leave a fair bruise - be warned.

Needs stronger rubber bands

Frame is solid, but my only gripe is that the slingshot rubber feels on the weak side considering that the rest of the slingshot is so overbuilt. I think they cheaped out on the bands.

Came with a bunch of spare parts that I didn't need

Brad emailed over some instructions but even then I was stumped with some of the screws and fasteners.

Great for 'fishing'

I use mine to cast bait like a pro.

Excellent slingshot!!

I'm really happy with this order. It looks the part - even though it's unlikely that i'll use the laser and flashlight. Nice and accurate shooter

Slow shipping, but well worth the effort (GTX-3)

My first shipment was 'lost' in transit... Not sure what happened to it, but the tracking info just hit a blank once it hit NSW. Anyway, Brad was quick to ship out a replacement, but all in all it took around 4 weeks to receive the unit from my original order date. That said, it's a beauty. I ordered the red version, the workmanship is first class.

Finicky to assemble.

Slingshot took around 30 minutes to get all of the parts hooked up the right way.
